The new Samsung Hype (A256) is supported for unlocking. Tested and working! It retails for $90 from Rogers as a Pay-As-You-Go Phone. Not bad for a full QWERTY phone with No Contract or for someone who needs a replacement phone right away...

We are announcing the unlocking for the new Blackberry 9700 from Telus, Bell, Rogers & Wind Mobile!

Please note that there are two variants of the Blackberry 9700 - Both have GSM Quadband however, the difference is the 3G. The one from Rogers/Telus/Bell operates on: HSPA 1900/850. The one offered by Wind Mobile operates on: HSPA 1700.

What does this mean? - If you buy a Blackberry 9700 from Wind Mobile, it will not work on Telus. It will work on Rogers, however only on their EDGE network. Same goes the otherway around. If you buy a Telus or Rogers Blackberry 9700, it will not work on Wind Mobile.
